The voter guide says he brought people together to cut bureaucracy and invest in students and the classroom, and that he would protect public education from what he calls Trump and MAGA attacks. The classroom line does not choose between direct public-school funding and money that follows the child.

The other superintendent candidate. His voter-guide statement talks about investing in public-school classrooms. It does not say whether public money should follow a child to a school the family picks, so it is not scored.
