The Joint List

The list runs as a technical alliance without a joint platform. The positions here come from bills filed in the 25th Knesset by Hadash–Ta’al MKs, whose parties now run in the list. On September 24, 2026 the Central Elections Committee decided to bar the list from the election to the 26th Knesset. On October 2, 2026 the Supreme Court unanimously accepted the list’s election appeal (E.A. 70018-09-26), cancelled the committee’s decision, and ruled that the list may run in the election to the 26th Knesset. In the same judgment the court decided, 7 to 2, not to approve the committee’s decision to bar MK Ofer Cassif from the election. A summary of reasons dated that day was published under lead/combined docket EDA 64311-09-26 et al. (which gathers the appeals); full reasons have not been published and are to follow separately.

Polling above the electoral threshold on September 30, 2026.

Hadash–Ta’al MKs, including Ahmad Tibi, filed a Basic Law to recognize an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders alongside Israel.

“הכרה במדינה פלסטינית, עצמאית וריבונית בגבולות 1967, לצד מדינת ישראל תבטיח כינון שלום בין העם היהודי והעם הפלסטיני, ובהתאם לכך תביא ביטחון ושגשוג לשני העמים ויציבות ושקט לאזור.”

Recognizing an independent and sovereign Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, alongside the State of Israel, will ensure the establishment of peace between the Jewish people and the Palestinian people, and accordingly bring security and prosperity to both peoples and stability and quiet to the region.
