Ra’am – United Arab List

No working Ra’am website or published platform was found. The positions here come from bills by its MKs. No reachable primary source was found for its positions on a Palestinian state or on Gaza. On September 24, 2026 the Central Elections Committee decided to bar the list from the election to the 26th Knesset. On October 2, 2026 the Supreme Court unanimously accepted the list’s election appeal (E.A. 69945-09-26), cancelled the committee’s decision, and ruled that the list may run in the election to the 26th Knesset. A summary of reasons dated that day was published under lead/combined docket EDA 64311-09-26 et al. (which gathers the appeals); full reasons have not been published and are to follow separately. Its chairman Mansour Abbas and two members of his faction also proposed writing into Basic Law: Human Dignity and Liberty that all citizens are equal before the law (bill P/1345/25). No question in this guide asks about that Basic Law, so the bill is listed here as a source, not under a question, and is not scored.

Polling above the electoral threshold on September 30, 2026.

Ra’am MK Walid Alhwashla filed a bill to put basic healthy food under price control.

“הצעת החוק באה להחיל את תקנות הפיקוח על מוצרי מזון בריא בסיסיים ולהנגיש את אותם מוצרים לכל משפחה בישראל משיקולים של טובת הציבור ורווחתו.”

The bill seeks to apply price-control regulations to basic healthy food products and make them accessible to every family in Israel, for reasons of public good and welfare.

Abbas writes that Ben-Gvir was “convicted of terror offenses”. According to Supreme Court decision רע״פ 9066/08 (December 7, 2008), the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court convicted Ben-Gvir on June 25, 2007 of incitement to racism, support for a terrorist organization and possession of a racist publication. The decision describes, among other things, signs in his car in 2002 signed by the “Kahane Tzadak” (“Kahane was right”) HQ, which had been declared a terrorist organization. The sentence was community service and a 60-day suspended prison term. In 2008 the District Court acquitted him of possessing the racist publication and set the community service at 200 hours, and the Supreme Court denied him leave to appeal. So one conviction is indeed for supporting a terrorist organization, but “convicted of terror offenses” leaves out that it concerned signs and publications linked to the Kahane movement, that the sentence involved no actual prison time, and that the conviction dates from 2007. A document attached to Otzma Yehudit's reply in the 2026 disqualification case says the convictions have lapsed and been expunged; that is the party's own claim and was not checked here. The decision is cited from an unofficial copy, because the official court-decisions site blocked access.

Unproven allegation

“תוקף את שופט בית המשפט העליון, חאלד כבוב, לא רק בשל היותו ערבי”

is attacking Supreme Court Justice Khaled Kabub not only because he is Arab

This is a claim about another person’s motive. The post offers no evidence for it, and Ben-Gvir’s own statements about Justice Kabub were not retrieved. The only evidence here is the post itself.
